Why Katie Taylor Loves Long Beach

Meet Katie Taylor, one of the talented young women who is a rising star in the local bike advocacy movement for Women On Bikes SoCal. An engineer from Atlanta, Katie found in Long Beach's bike-friendly culture the perfect welcome she'd been looking for to fand ind her new "home town." This short sweet three minute video by John Case (founder of Bikestation) edited by bicycle advocate Drew Reed, illustrates beautifully why the mix of bicycle infrastructure + a dynamic fashion forward bike culture in Long Beach is the love letter needed to help double the number of women and girls riding bikes.
