About Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth is the current founder and President of Cali Bike Tours, a bike touring company in Long Beach, California.  She is an avid cyclist and novice triathlete whose desire is to share the joys of living a whole life through health & fitness, travel & adventure.  It was a natural progression for her to start a business that promotes healthy, green lifestyles.  Through Cali Bike Tours, Elizabeth has been able to share her passion and excitement about cycling and the city with locals and tourists through her bike tours.  Her latest exciting adventure has included working with the Women on Bikes project to empower women of Long Beach with the basic knowledge and skills of bike riding.

In addition to being a budding entrepreneur, Elizabeth was most recently employed as a Senior Financial Analyst with Beckman Coulter, a biotech company in Brea, California where she was responsible for managing budgets, estimates, and actuals for multiple business groups within the Brea manufacturing site.  She has been a Senior Financial Analyst for most of last 17 years. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance from California State University, Long Beach.  She is a Long Beach Poly High School alumni and a long time resident of Long Beach.

Elizabeth Williams has lived a life of avid community service and has a passion for empowering individuals. She has served the community through volunteering as a Volunteer Tutor Coordinator for School on Wheels, provided tutoring in math, reading and English, worked with young adults and youth inside and outside of the church, worked with the Red Cross and missions to provide shelter relief and help repair homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina in Texas and New Orleans, spearheaded an annual Community Give-Away of basic necessities and hygiene kits for the less privileged, raised funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was a participant in their triathlon and century bike ride, repaired homes for the elderly and a shelter for women with Make a Difference Day, and worked as a community small business and nonprofit consultant assisting clients with reaching their goals of starting a business.
